Please join us for some May SustainRT webinars!

Practical Applications of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at your Library
    May 16, 12:00-1:00 pm Eastern
    Registration link: https://lnkd.in/e-fbfhp9
Please join us for a webinar about practically applying the UN SustainableDevelopmentGoals to your library's programs and resources.

You'll get to meet Hazel Onsrud, an adult services librarian for the Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick, Maine, and an Advisory Board member for the Sustainable Libraries Initiative (SLI) Initiative. You'll learn how to start your own library of things (LoT), where helpful resources are located (like an LoT Mutual Aid group)  and strategies to connect with community partners for practical sustainability programming in your region (even if you never mention the word sustainability). The event will be recorded for those who cannot join live.

    Climate Café Collaboration with Libraries
    May 17, 11:30-12:30 Eastern
    Registration link: https://lnkd.in/eim789WA
Please register to join The Resilient Activist Climate Café Team along with members of the American Library Association's Sustainability Roundtable for an information exchange to explore how librarians could host Climate Café "Watch Parties" with Zoom in their local libraries.
This gathering will be an inspiring brainstorming session so bring your best ideas and invite others who may be interested in resourcing their library systems to support those experiencing the emotional impact of climate change!

    Climate Café
The Sustainability Roundtable and The Resilient Activist continue our Climate Café gatherings on May 20, 7-8:30 pm Eastern.
    Registration link: https://lnkd.in/eeKVTT8E
    Please join us if you
…would appreciate being in a supportive space to explore how climate change and ecological destruction make you feel.
…are a librarian who would like to experience a Climate Café to learn what it is all about. Participating will help you envision hosting future in-person "watch party" Cafés in your local libraries.
