Polly (MLS, MPA) brings an incredible wealth of leadership and governance experience to this role. As the Professor and Dean of University Libraries at Oakland University, she has spent years structurally embedding sustainability into library operations, from establishing dedicated sustainability committees aligned with the ALA Resolution on Sustainable Libraries to securing endowments for a Library of Things.
An active member of SustainRT since 2020 and a dedicated contributor to our Education & Programming Committee since 2023, Polly's understanding of our round table makes her uniquely suited for this position. We are excited to leverage her extensive background in strategic planning and international library trends as we look toward our upcoming strategic planning cycles.
