Using a compilation of updates from ALA Communications and Marketing, along with a few other ALA sources, I would like to create an ALA Updates section in the ODLOS Connect forum.
- The PLA Conference will occur in Minneapolis, April 1- 3, 2026. Ruha Benjamin will deliver the keynote. More information about other speakers and events can be found here.

- Passports have been in the news lately. Here is a recent statement from ALA regarding a bill proposed to protect passport acceptance services in nonprofit libraries.
