SustainRT is pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2025 New Voices in Sustainability Conference Stipend is Donna Gray. This stipend is offered each year by SustainRT to a round table member to encourage diverse voices and representation at the ALA conference and in the Sustainability Round Table’s active membership.
Donna Gray is the Bronx Library Coordinator for the New York City School Library System, with over 20 years of experience in K–12 education, libraries, and higher education. She has served as a Senior Young Adult Librarian at the New York Public Library and previously worked at Teachers College, Columbia University. Donna currently chairs the Black Caucus of the American Library Association & School Library Journal’s Children & Young Adult Literary Awards. She also serves on the executive committee of Project Cicero and teaches as an adjunct professor at both St. John Fisher University and Bank Street College. Donna holds master’s degrees in Library Science from Queens College and Educational Leadership from Bank Street College.
