SustainRT Conference Call, April 24, 2015
Present: Ashley Jones, Coordinator; Madeleine Charney, Coordinator Elect; Eileen Harrington, Member at Large; Matthew Bollerman, Secretary; Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, Member at Large; Betsy Evans, Treasurer
Meeting was called to order at 10:00 am by Ashley Jones.
Governance Working Group – (Ashley, Rebekkah and Matt) – Beth is working more with the Marketing and Outreach group. Paul Growler, conference special services committee will be approached about what ALA is doing towards sustainable conference practices.
Marketing and Outreach – Beth is taking a lead on moving forward a number of issues.
It was agreed by all that at least one Board member should be on each working group.
The second draft of the resolution was read through and some suggestions were made. It looks ready for the June 4 ALA Virtual meeting from 1:30 to 2:30 PM CST. All are asked to build support for the resolution before the virtual meeting.
Madeleine has the ok to move forward with the webinar.
SustainRT Virtual Meeting is being scheduled for June 12, 15 or 16. A doodle pool will confirm shortly.
