    Hello All,

    I'm currently helping a local committee with a community hearing regarding a proposed plastics ban in a coastal community. Specifically, the task force is looking at the economic impacts of a plastic ban (bags, straws, Styrofoam) on individuals and businesses in the community, positive or negative. There are other task forces working on environmental and health impacts so that is not necessarily the concern of this group.

    Would anyone know of any good resources that cut to the economic impacts of plastic bans. Any information on tourism, fisheries/oysteries, cost/benefits for consumers, and costs/benefits for businesses would be appreciated.
