The NYUAD Library is proud to present their second iteration of a conference about Libraries and AI, "Transforming Information: Libraries in the Age of AI". This is a free, online conference that will be held on Monday, November 17 and Tuesday November 18, 2025 from 10am-2pm GMT/1am-5am EST. This conference will be recorded and the recording will be sent to all who registered. The conference program will be sent out later this evening. We've got a great lineup of speakers! Since the release of ChatGpt to the general public in 2022, the use of generative AI has become increasingly common in academic spaces. Inevitably the use of these tools has had a tremendous impact on teaching, learning and research. They've also had an impact on libraries.
"Transforming Information: Libraries in the Age of AI," is a two-day virtual conference that seeks to address the impact that Generative AI has had on libraries as a whole. This conference seeks to explore AI's impact on all types of libraries including school, academic, special, law, medical, military and all others.
