    Kansas State University is hosting a free AI Symposium from Oct. 15-17. The symposium is open to everyone and nearly every session is streaming online. 

    Topics include: recent advances in AI, how AI can be used for educational purposes, AI applications in various disciplines, including agriculture, engineering and the humanities, as well as some of the ethical issues surrounding AI.  Sessions that may be of particular interest to librarians include:

    1. Panel: Beyond the Books: AI and Academic Honesty (Oct. 16 from 9-9:50 a.m. CDT)
    2. Panel: Missing in the Algorithm: An Examination of Archival Silence in AI Environments (Oct. 17 from 2-2:50 p.m. CDT)
    3. Keynote: Cultivating an AI Ethics Ecosystem (Oct. 17 from 4-5:30 p.m. CDT)
