    Hi all -

I'm one of those weird not-a-librarian types - I threw my degree behind fundraising and donor research. I regularly use predictive and generative AI to do my job, and one of the companies I work closely with is working on an AI marketplace where you can choose your bots and bring them into conversations and what not rather than having to switch between the different companies.

It's very alpha, but they're looking to build bot bundles for different markets - including education, libraries, and fundraising, and they'd love to have your input. There's a dozen or so different bots available to test now, including text and image generation, and public boxes of samples to give you ideas of what to ask. You have the ability to give feedback on each result, save conversations, and more.

on top of letting you in to play with it, if you have any ideas for bots that would prove helpful for your students or patrons, shoot me an email or comment below and I'll get it in their next release for you to test. For example, they're working on a couple D&D assistant bots, but one of the new ones is specifically good at thank you letters and asks several prompts designed to get you a great draft.

If you're interested in trying it out and giving feedback, you can sign up at https://box.boodle.ai/

I'd love for this to start a conversation about good uses for generative AI as well as help keep them honest with their ethics - they're currently testing an essay bot that I don't like for several reasons, but it is a great example of the limits of AI and the need to check your work with it.
