On behalf of the members of the AI Competencies for Academic Library Workers Task Force, I am pleased to share that ACRL's Board of Directors has approved the AI Competencies for Academic Library Workers. We are deeply grateful to everyone who shared feedback and helped shape this work.

The task force intends this broad articulation of core competencies to serve as a foundation for others to build upon by adapting and expanding it to meet the specific needs of their communities.

The document is available online at https://www.ala.org/acrl/standards/ai and appears on ACRL's list of Standards, Guidelines, and Frameworks.

The members of the task force were Dr. Frances M. Alvarado-Albertorio, Jason Coleman (co-chair), David Free (ACRL staff liaison), Brooke Gross, Nicole Hennig, Keven Jeffery (co-chair), Dr. Priya Kizhakkethil, Dr. Olga Koz, Dr. LeRoy LaFleur, Beth A. LaPensee, Dr. Leo S. Lo (ACRL board liaison), Dr. Michael J. Paulus Jr., Sue Parks, Brian A. Quinn, and Emily L. Rimland.
