    Hello,

With the funds provided by the grant we purchased new laptops to teach our technology classes, with the intention of using them far into the future. Our laptops came installed with Windows 11 vs 10 and I noticed that most of the basic Windows courses are for 10.

Do we need to use 10 or is there a newer course that is established that would focus on Windows 11?

Obviously this is one of the first classes that I would like to have so I wanted to reach out and see if there is some guidance on hand or feedback.

I am looking to have the first class on October 22nd.

    Hi Nicole:
That is unfortunate but is a perpetual issue with digital literacy training.  You are able to edit and adjust the workshop materials as you need and I recommend that. I reviewed the updates for 11 and the bones are still the same but there are a few changes to the interface/ visual look. You or your facilitator should familiarize themselves with that new interface and adjust any scripts or directions.  It may be as simple as the color of a menu or some such. I know this is annoying and unexpected but I believe the resources will still be helpful for workshops.

Anyone else can chime in with suggestions!
