Happy Monday Friends!
I received a question about the rates libraries are paying instructors/facilitators to teach DigitalLearn Workshops. We talked about this at the webinar and there were some helpful comments (see below) but I realize that those watching the recording miss out on the chat content. I was able to dig up the chat and here is that section.
From the Webinar Chat:-We pay our instructors $35/hour
-we pay 50-60 per hour
- $35-60 based on licenses, experience, etc.
- Tech people in our area ask between $40 and $50 an hour
- We are paying at the market consultant rate currently about $100/hr and allotting for prep and teach time - We are in DC
- We budgeted for paying "volunteers" $90.00 per class. That was based on other rates in the area; Northern AZ
Feel free to keep this conversation going,
