  • 1.  Deadline to spend grant funds

    Hi --

    Is there a deadline to spend the funds for this grant? I have read and reread all the stuff I have and I can't find one. Just need to know if I need to go on a quick spending spree or can I keep running classes the way I am and spend it over time.

    Hi Dawn
    Great question!
    You can continue to spend the funds on workshops over time. There is no deadline for that aspect of the incentive.

    The next deadlines to be aware of are to meet your learner goals by March 1, 2023, and to complete the final report by March 31, 2023.
    The final report will be available next week.

    Thank you so much for the response! We have already met our goals and I look forward to filling out the final report. I also look forward to continuing these classes for as long as is humanly possible. We just got the go-ahead to teach these classes at the state men's prison in Parchman. They have a program that is for soon to be released men to help them re-enter the community. I can't wait!!
