** Please excuse cross posting **
Urban Librarians Unite (ULU), in collaboration with The New York Library Association (NYLA) and The Division of Library and Information Science (DLIS) at St. John's University, is researching workplace trauma experienced by some public librarians as they provide information services in urban areas.

The goal of this project is to learn more about the ways in which trauma and its effects are occupational hazards in urban public library work.  The results are intended to inform the creation of best practices that meaningfully address employee trauma in library work environments and promote well-being and care in the workplace.
Please consider filling out the survey. ULU and its partners are committed to making the findings of this work publicly available in support of library workers and the populations they serve.  As a respondent, you will be notified when the report is available so you may access it yourself. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Additionally, please feel free to forward the survey to colleagues and peers who may want to share their experiences.
    Sincerely,

    J. O'Malley
