• March 2025: The mysteries of bibliographic encoding levels: provides information on bibliographic encoding levels for WorldCat records including the difference between full and minimal level records, what encoding level "M" means, and who can change the encoding level for CIP records.
• November 2023: MARC fields for manuscripts and archival collections: covers correct fixed field coding and commonly used MARC fields for cataloging manuscripts and archival collections including fields 340, 351, 524, and 856.
• September 2021: The complexities of field transfer: field transfer, the copying or transfer of select bibliographic data from a duplicate record to a retained record, is explained both for manual merges and automated merges through Duplicate Detection and Resolution (DDR).
