We are excited to announce the publication of "Cataloging and Describing Maps: Advancing Discovery and Access for Cartographic Resources." This Journal of Map & Geography Libraries special issue also honors Paige Andrew's career and lasting impact on map cataloging, librarianship, and the journal he co-founded and co-edited for many years.

Volume 21(1-2) includes reflections from some of the many individuals Paige worked with and affected during his illustrious career, along with reports and research articles on topics of interest in cartographic cataloging today.

We hope you will enjoy reading these works and that you'll also learn something new and be inspired. And we hope this will serve as a fitting tribute to Paige, who taught so much and inspired so many through his own work and mentorship.

Enjoy your retirement, Paige, and everything that comes next!

Tim Kiser, Theresa Quill, and Josh Sadvari
