Seeking members for MAGIRT (formerly MAGERT) Education Committee

  • 1.  Seeking members for MAGIRT (formerly MAGERT) Education Committee

    I would like to invite you all to become a member of the MAGIRT Education Committee.  Much of our work will be done virtually, and throughout the year, so attendance at Midwinter and Annual is optional.  

    Among our goals for the year are: 1) revising the Map/GIS and Metadata Core Competencies to expand and include live links; 2) work with the Program Planning Committee and Publications Committee to enrich upcoming programs and publications; 3) propose and plan webinars on topics of interest; and/or 4) other initiatives that the group sees as important for the greater good 

    Consider lending your expertise and supporting your peers and the profession through membership on the Education Committee.
