My position as Chair of the ALCTS-CaMMS/MAGIRT Cartographic Resources Cataloging Interest Group concludes as of July  31, 2021. The Chair position for the Cartographic Resources Cataloging Interest Group (Core/MAGIRT) is part of Core's Metadata and Collections Section. Core was created by merging ALCTS, LITA, and LLAMA. Core interest groups offer a way to meet colleagues who share your interests and concerns while problem-solving together and sharing best practices.

The Cartographic Resources Cataloging Interest Group hold open discussion sessions for addressing topics of interest to the cartographic and geospatial resources cataloging community. Discussions include the basic issues relating to bibliographic control of maps and related materials, rules and standards covering such cataloging, as well as application of the rules and principles both in general and in response to specific problems, and various practicing options.

If you are interested in taking over the position of Chair, please contact for further information.

    Thank you.
