Are you a librarian seeking a national service opportunity? Do you have a keen interest in helping librarians develop new skills? Would you like to develop the research potential of our profession? The Library Research Round Table's Research Mentoring Program Subcommittee would like to reach out to you! We have just completed the inaugural cohort of the Virtual Research Mentoring Program, and we are excited to continue the program for next year. But we need your help to make it a quality experience for all participants. This opportunity is open to all, even if you had not participated in this or other mentoring programs. We are seeking those who like keeping track of participants, or arranging or conducting training on quality mentoring experiences, or organizing and sending communications to participants and developing a community. Currently, the committee members are Dr. Jennifer Sweeney of the San Jose State University and myself, Karen Harker of the University of North Texas. If you have any questions or an interest in this opportunity, please feel free to contact us at ala.lrrt.mentoring@gmail.com.
