The mission of the Library Research Round Table (LRRT) is to contribute toward the extension and improvement of library research; to provide public program opportunities for describing and evaluating library research projects and for disseminating their findings; to inform and educate ALA members concerning research techniques and their usefulness in obtaining information with which to reach administrative decisions and solve problems; and expand the theoretical base of the field. LRRT also, serves as a forum for discussion and action on issues related to the literature and information needs for the field of library and information science.

    LRRT Chair's Program: Research Forum and Shera Award Presentations

    Join us for the LRRT Chair's Program including the Research Forum with three research presentations, a Jesse H. Shera award presentation, and light refreshments! Meet the incoming chair, Devin Savage, some of the LRRT Steering Committee members, and other volunteers and members in our LRRT community. Come learn more about us and how you can contribute to the efforts of the LRRT, and meet some folks interested in Library Research!

    Karen Harker, LRRT chair-elect and Steering Committee member initiated revitalizing the  LRRT Virtual Mentorship Program in 2022. Join members of the  Mentorship Committee and participants in the program for this session. There will be 3 mentee presentations, as well as an overview of the program and a brief presentation about next year's program.
