    Hello,

We are a group of faculty who work at California State University, Sacramento and we are studying bullying that occurs within academia. You are being asked to participate in an IRB approved survey about your experiences with bullying and/or incivility as a faculty member at a college or university. As the surveys are online and we are not collecting any identifiable information, your responses will not be connected back to you.

We will also be conducting focus groups on the topic in the future, so if you are interested in participating in these focus groups, there will be an opportunity after the survey to submit your contact information to us. Your contact information will be disconnected from your survey responses and downloaded into separate files so as to maintain anonymity. Finally, even with submitting your contact information, you are not committing to participation in the focus group when they are conducted, and can choose not to at anytime.

If you have any questions about the research at any time, please feel free to contact us: Todd Migliaccio, tmigliac@csus.edu Anthony Rivas a.rivas@csus.edu ,Bita Rivas, b.rivas@csus.edu, Rachel Keiko Stark, stark@csus.edu
