The mission of the Library Research Round Table (LRRT) is to contribute toward the extension and improvement of library research; to provide public program opportunities for describing and evaluating library research projects and for disseminating their findings; to inform and educate ALA members concerning research techniques and their usefulness in obtaining information with which to reach administrative decisions and solve problems; and expand the theoretical base of the field. LRRT also, serves as a forum for discussion and action on issues related to the literature and information needs for the field of library and information science.

Dates and Times for LRRT Sessions at the ALA Annual Conference

    LRRT Members,


    Today, I received information about our upcoming sessions at the Annual Conference.  LRRT is sponsoring a Mentorship Program session, two Research Forums, and the Executive Committee Meeting.  You are welcome to attend any of these sessions, including the Executive Committee Meeting.


    I will be sending additional information out about the presenters at the Research Forums in the coming weeks.


    Also, LRRT is co-sponsoring a Research, Writing, and Publishing Fair with the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS).  That session will be held on Saturday, June 25th from 10:30 - 11:30 in the Convention Center - W110B.
