I hope that you all had an enjoyable holiday break.

As Chair of the LRRT Nominations Committee, I am writing to encourage you to consider serving on the LRRT Steering Committee this year.  It is a rewarding way to contribute to our field and to network with other library professionals in the area of academic research.

LRRT is currently seeking nominees to run for the following positions in 2015. Please consider running on the 2015 spring ALA ballot for one of the following offices:

    Chair-Elect (3 year appointment) - July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2018
    Secretary (2 year appointment) – July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2017

    Round Table Councilor (2 year appointment) - July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2017

Please let me know if you would like to be nominated for one of these positions by emailing me directly at kgavigan@mailbox.sc.edu no later than January 19th.

    Thank you for your consideration.
