Apologies for cross-posting. Please forward this message to friends, colleagues, and networks - this opportunity is open to all library workers regardless of memberships or affiliation!

    Dear colleagues,

Did you spend some time writing this summer and now have a draft you'd like someone to look at? The Library Writing Cooperative's First Draft Matchmaker program is looking for authors who would like feedback on their work!

As an author, you'll receive supportive and nonjudgmental feedback on your first draft, generally within 2-3 weeks. Sign up here to have your work reviewed. We invite and encourage participation from those new to writing for the library and information science profession and those who have previously authored works. No prior publication experience is necessary. (Not ready to submit a draft yet? Fill out the form now, and we'll reach out again later.)

Reviewers can give your op-ed, essay, article, case study, research papers or conference proposals a thoughtful read and offer suggestions. Please keep in mind that our reviewers are not able to review lengthy manuscripts, such as entire books or multiple articles.

If you have any questions, please stop by our website or contact us at libwrtcoop@gmail.com, and please add libwrtcoop@gmail.com to your contacts so you don't miss any of our messages.

We look forward to connecting with you!

    All the best,

    Amanda Izenstark
    Co-founder, Library Writing Cooperative

P.S. If you would like to volunteer as a reviewer, please do! Head to our Be a Reviewer page to learn more.
