The mission of the Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) is to provide a forum for discussion of activities, programs, and problems of instruction in the use of libraries; to contribute to the education and training of librarians for library instruction; to promote instruction in the use of libraries as an essential library service, and to serve as a channel of communication on library instruction between the ALA divisions, ALA and ACRL committees, state clearinghouses, Project LOEX, other organizations concerned with instruction in the use of libraries, and members of the Association.

Save the Date: Registration for The Innovative Library Classroom Opens on April 10

Registration for The Innovative Library Classroom (TILC) will open at 10 am on April 10. This year's TILC will take place on June 5 and 6 in Williamsburg, VA. Our conference theme for 2025 is Sustainability: sustainability in instruction, in information literacy, and in ourselves. We have a great set of presentations and posters this year, so we invite you to attend what has been called "the friendliest, most useful, most awesome conference." TILC has been known to sell out quickly, so mark your calendars now!

Registration for the conference is $80 and includes the Thursday social, and breakfast, lunch, and snacks on Friday.  The pre-conference workshop is an additional $25.

For more information and the full schedule, see our website at https://theinnovativelibraryclassroom.weebly.com/ The registration link will also be made available on the website once registration opens on April 10.
