St. Luke's School seeks a dynamic, inspiring Upper School Librarian. The two-story St. Luke's Library resides at the heart of a 36,000-sq.ft. Humanities and Art wing that opened in September 2018, housing abundant resources including a carefully curated print collection, more than 200k e-books, a Discovery catalog, and a robust suite of databases. The Library also includes a dedicated instructional classroom, breakout space, and an adjacent cafe, with opportunities that abound for collaboration, creativity, and camaraderie.

Reporting directly to the Head of Upper School, and working in close partnership with the Middle School Librarian, the Upper School Librarian will be a highly collaborative faculty partner who values the mission of the school and is committed to empowering students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. They will have an abiding interest in evaluating continual changes in the fields of education and library and information sciences, and understand the needs of and take great joy in working with adolescents. This is a full-time, school-year (summers off) position with excellent benefits.
