This presentation will address the primary source literacy skills that librarians, curators, and instructors can help students build through teaching based in direct engagement with physical and digital primary source materials in Special Collections (and Libraries, Archives, and Museums generally). The presentation will be based on current guidelines in the field and the presenter's experience with Special Collections instruction as a student and a professional.
