Using ChatGPT to Engage in Library Instruction? Challenges and Opportunities

    February 22, 2023

    10:00am - 11:00am Pacific (8am Hawaii, 9am Alaska, 11am Mountain, 12pm Central, 1pm Eastern)

    Presenter: Ray Pun

Arriving in November 2022, ChatGPT is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot that has emerged as a tool to create stories, essays, lists, questions, and more on almost any topic. Its impact on learning and society as a whole is still unclear but at this moment, more and more schools are banning the use of ChatGPT. This Free Show & Tell Webinar will look at ChatGPT and how this tool may be aligned to support library instruction. The session will also be an open discussion on how we can mitigate its deleterious effects on learning. (Please note: this description was not created by ChatGPT.)

    Session will be recorded.
