Hello,
Would you or anyone you know be willing to serve as a peer reviewer? A team of librarians at Fort Hays State University's Tebo Library has recently created a new adaptation of the open textbook Choosing and Using Sources: A Guide to Academic Research, originally authored by Ohio State University Libraries. Our version is called The Path to Information Literacy: From Finding a Topic to Writing an Annotated Bibliography. We are looking for three peer reviewers, ideally librarians who teach information literacy courses. We are able to offer each reviewer compensation in the form of a $75 e-gift card.
We would ask peer reviewers to leave comments on the text using the annotation tool Hypothes.is and to rate the book using a rubric developed by BCcampus Open Education:
Reviewers will be selected on a first come, first serve basis and our tentative deadline for receiving reviews is October 2026. If interested, please complete the following form. If you have any questions, contact Online Learning Librarian Heather VanDyne at hpvandyne@fhsu.edu.
Thank you,
Heather VanDyne
