    Hi everyone!

We are looking forward to seeing you at our next LHRT Reads book discussion. For the month of December, we are discussing Susan Orlean's The Library Book. We are meeting on Thursday, December 15th, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Register in advance for this event:

    https://nyu.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJIudOyvpj8sE9IGSNmue1YGX0XOUmw-oHxZ

Please read The Library Book before our meeting. Bring at least one question you'd like to discuss with other group members.

If you've never participated in a book discussion, you might want to read these tips: https://ilovelibraries.org/for-book-lovers/bookclubs/ . Also, please be aware that all LHRT events, including LHRT Reads, adhere to ALA's Statement on Appropriate Conduct,

http://www.ala.org/conferencesevents/statement_appropriate_conduct . We expect a lively discussion, but let's keep it kind.

Also, we are planning for LHRT Reads 2023. Is there a library history title you'd love to read?  If so, let us know which titles you'd like to see by completing this survey:  https://forms.gle/UfmmfDhH1C5Dbf8r9 .

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Amanda (ab6477@nyu.edu) or me (mfenton9910@gmail.com).

    Happy Reading!!
