LHRT News & Notes , the blog of the Library History Round Table, is honored to host this open access research project completed by Dr. Joseph Winberry and his library history students at the University of North Carolina's School of Information and Library Sciences!

Through this course assignment, Dr. Winberry and his students created biographical profiles of influential librarians as part of their library history course. There is so much to learn from the lives of these librarians; their stories offer ideas that can help us pilot the future of the profession! Read Dr. Winberry's lucid discussion of this project and access the student essays below:

For those who teach library history courses, we at the blog would be interested in partnering with you as well on similar projects!
