    Now that the election period is open, please take note of the proposed changes in the bylaws, in particular "Bylaws Amendment 2 - Clarification of the distinction between a Session and a Meeting of Council."  In addition to the clarification, this amendment also modifies the procedures for the establishment, merger, and dissolution of Divisions and Round Tables (see pages 8-9 on the linked document). 

    The amendment does not change what happens when a Round Table falls below the 150-member threshold, but does add language pertaining to the opinion and authority of the Council regarding mergers and dissolutions. Please take a moment to review this amendment so you are aware of the process if it passes.
