    Posted Apr 07, 2025 04:33 PM

The ALA elections recently closed and the results are due to be announced. It is my pleasure to announce that the revised Bylaws passed, and will become effective along with the new Handbook (which was approved by the Executive Board contingent on passage of the Bylaws).

Please join with me in welcoming the newest slate of officers who will take on their roles at the end of ALA's annual meeting in June:

    • Steve Knowlton, vice-chair / chair elect
    • Matthew Goldberg, secretary/treasurer elect
    • Rachel Trnka, member at large 1
    • Ellen Pozzi, councilor.

And a heartfelt thank you to all the candidates willing to stand for election--LHRT cannot survive without all of us.

    Sincerely,

    Alea
