    Has Laura Bush been reached out to for support? 

    During Laura Bush's time as  First Lady  the  Laura Bush 21st Century Library Program was established (2002).  Laura Bush 21st Century Library Program .

    Laura Bush founded the National Book Festival with the Library of Congress in 2001 and was honored with the Living Legend Medallion by Dr. James Billington, the Librarian of Congress, in 2008.
