During the War on Poverty Henry T. Drennan was the adminstrator of the Office of Libraries and Learning Resources / Bureau of Libraries and Technology in HEW), overseeing the Library Services and Construction Act (LSCA). He was honored in 1978 with the Joseph W. Lippincott Award.
He wrote many articles in the Library Literature and helped many many libraries. (examples below)
