Foundational Books- Last Call-Sesquicentennial Books

  • 1.  Foundational Books- Last Call-Sesquicentennial Books

Last week I sent out a request that anyone could post or send me books published since 1976 that were foundation in their careers. I have about 60. I will send out the list soon. After the ALA Centennial this book was published:

1977. Libraries and the Life of the Mind in America: Addresses Delivered at the Centennial Celebration of the American Library Association. Chicago: The Association, 1977.

Is there a book planned for the Sesquicentennial?

This is nothing official, just thinking of the last 50 years and what books made an impact.

ALAConnect with over 40K members seemed to me a great group to query.

    Thanks to all who responded.
