Glad to read about Dr. Robert Wedgeworth in the America Libraries  anniversary issue.

Another  aspect of Dr. Wedgeworth's contribution to ALA was his editorship of  The ALA Yearbook: A Review of Library Events.

The  Yearbook was launched in 1976.  This was  the Centennial Edition, timed to commemorate ALA's 100th anniversary  and the ALA Centennial Conference in Chicago.
    • The Centennial edition was 512 pages. Many articles included photographs, illustrations and statistical data
    • Reports from state library associations were included.
Dr. Wedgeworth  established the Yearbook  (published 1976–1985) as a key documentation tool for the history of U.S. librarianship in the late 20th century.

None of  interviews in   A Seat at the Table: Reflections from eight ALA trailblazers  could encompass the entire career of those profiled,  but in this anniversary year, Dr. Wedgeworth''s contribution to recent library history is especially  important.
