    Dear colleagues:

The residents of the Atkins Park Neighborhood Association in Atlanta, Georgia, have determined to rededicate their neighborhood name  in honor of Dr. Eliza Atkins Gleason.  They are looking for more biographical material on Dr. Gleason.  I have pointed them to "Little Known Black Librarian Facts" and the Kentucky Libraries article by Reinette Jones.

If you have other resources on this topic, please let me know and I will share with the Atkins Park Neighborhood Association.   Please write to me at steven.knowlton@princeton.edu.

    Thanks,

    Steve Knowlton
