    Deanna B. Marcum (1946 – 2022)

    Deanna B. Marcum was president of the Council on Library and Information Resources;, Dean of the Catholic University of America School of Library and Information Science; Associate Librarian for Library Services at the Library of Congress and managing director of Ithaka S+R.

    Dr. Marcum worked closely with the Association of Research Libraries including the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) Steering Committee, the LibQUAL Steering Committee, and the SPARC Steering Committee.

    She was honored with  the ALA Medal of Excellence in 2011.
