    I want to bring attention to this call for volunteers for a new AI Policy Working Group for ALA. The group is looking for wide representation across ALA, and it would be good to have a representative from LHRT. If you are interested in how ALA addresses AI, please explore the links below.

    Hello Everyone!

    The Artificial Intelligence Policy Working Group volunteer form is now live. The goal of this working group, as approved by Council at our Annual meeting, is to create an ALA Artificial Intelligence Policy Statement to be presented to Council in Chicago next June. We hope that as many units of ALA that would like to be involved will have a representative. Individuals not formally involved with an ALA unit may also fill out the form. The deadline is August 31. Following that, the working group will be announced.
