    Here at the LHRT News & Notes blog, we recently became aware of an exciting book project about women in the making of public libraries by Dr. Mark Carl Rom (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Tuxxu8YAAAAJ&hl=en), and we asked him for an overview to share with the library history community.  He is also seeking comments from the community and readers for drafts.
