    Allie Beth Martin- June 28, 1914 – April 11, 1976.

    Oklahoma has legislative challenges today, but let's remember, Allie Beth Martin, Oklahoma librarian awarded Honorary American Library Association Membership in 1976.

     In her inaugural address in San Francisco, July 4, 1975,  Allie Beth Martin's goals called for ALA's commitment to equal information access for all and intellectual
