    Dr. Wiegand will be presenting "Out of Sight, Out of Mind: Missing Stories in American Library History" for the 2025-2026 Gryphon Lecture! The Gryphon Lecture is hosted annually by the The Center for Children's Books at the University of Illinois iSchool and "features a leading scholar in the field of youth and literature, media, and culture."

    This year's talk is on Wednesday, March 4, 2026,1:00 - 2:00 PM Central Standard Time. There is an online participation option!
