    As part of Core Interest Group Week, the Book and Paper Interest Group will host an hour-long session on comic book preservation and brainstorming for future topics.

    Book and Paper IG: Live Long and Repair: How the Library of Congress Cares for Its Comics

    Session Date and Time: Monday, March 4, 2024, 1:00 p.m. Central

    Presenters:

    • Lily Tyndall – General Collections Conservation Section, Library of Congress
    • Meg Halsband – Serials and Government Publication Division, Library of Congress
    • Lena Sebakijje – Serials and Government Publication Division, Library of Congress
    • The presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion on future topics for the Book and Paper Interest Group. Core Interest Week session recordings will be available the second week in March.
    • The session is free and open to non-Core members.
