The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    After facing this, we established that we are responding to people. 1) If the same person submits the same challenge, for the same service, the board decision was final, and they cannot resubmit.  2) If another person does, we consider what their issue is and look at it fairly, one person may object to language, one to artwork, one to sexual content. 3)We would have different reviews. 4) We have collected source material, and if the two complaints are the same, we could use the reviews for both challenges. 5) Everyone should feel entitled to petition the government.
