Here's a friendly reminder about next week's IFRT Reads event. The second installment of the 2024 IFRT Reads series is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2024 and is being co-sponsored by Core's Continuing Education Committee. This meeting will be a one-hour webinar format starting at 1 pm Pacific, 2 pm Mountain, 3 pm Central, and 4 pm Eastern time. We will be joined by Dr. Andrea Jamison, author of Decentering Whiteness in Libraries: A Framework for Inclusive Collection Management Practices. Our conversation will focus on chapter 2: Understanding the Library Bill of Rights and its Significance to Diversity in Collection Development, and we'll be answering questions developed during the first discussion of this chapter in the January session.
