The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

  • 1.  Next IFRT Reads on April 15th: Library Neutrality

    Hi all,

    The next installment of IFRT Reads will be focused on the topic of library neutrality.  We'll be reading four short (and freely available) pieces: 

    The discussion will be on Monday, April 15th from 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern / 2 to 3 p.m. Central / 1 to 2 p.m. Mountain / 12 to 1 p.m. Pacific. Once you register for the event, you'll get a link to add the meeting to your calendar.  

    We know this is a topic that will spark a lively discussion, and we encourage you to join us with the intent to engage, listen, and learn. Looking forward to seeing  you on the 15th!
