The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    Hi, all,

    Missouri Association of School Librarians President Melissa Corey has set up a reprint of their popular "Libraries Welcome Everyone" shirts. There is also a hoodie option available this time.
    This fundraiser is set up to benefit  "local charities that support diversity and inclusion." The backstory is that Melissa will make the donation as a private citizen to the Friends group at her local public library. She was advised against tying the fundraiser to the library directly because of the level of controversy they are currently facing.
