The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    Join us on Monday, March 3rd at noon Eastern / 11 a.m. Central / 10 a.m. Mountain / 9 a.m. Pacifc for a discussion on The Anatomy of Fascism (2004) by Robert Paxton, an American political scientist and leading historian of fascism.   This book is also available in audio format.  For a brief summary of the main tenets of fascism, please view the pathfinder brochure produced by the Social Responsibilities Round Table:  Pathfinders - Fascism
