    Greetings!

If you will be in Chicago this weekend: Look out for these IFRT events:

    • Saturday and Sunday:
      • IFRT is a sponsor for Banned Books in the Big Chair
        • They are still looking for volunteers to help run the event! I have volunteered for several years now and love the experience. It provides the opportunity to connect with other ALA members invested in protecting the freedom to read and you might have the opportunity to meet authors!
        • Volunteer here: Volunteer Form.
    • Saturday 06/27
      • Busking for the Merritt Fund: 9am to Noon on the McCormick Place Grand Concourse.
      • Intellectual Freedom Huddle: 12pm to 12:20pm in the ALA Connect Lounge. Join us to talk about what kind of programming you'd like to see from IFRT!
      • IFRT Meeting: 1-2:30pm in McCormick Place W475
      • IFRT Awards & Chair's Program: Intellectual Freedom: Navigating the Tension Between Beliefs and Principles 2:30-3:30pm in McCormick Place W194 B
